Coffee Fest Merchandise Line & Retail Booth

Coffee Fest has been a cornerstone of the specialty coffee industry since its founding in Washington state in 1992. Over the years, it has expanded to serve large and small specialty coffee markets across the United States, hosting events four times a year.

I was contracted to design and develop Coffee Fest’s first in-house merchandise line. In 2024, I contracted graphic designer Sophie Wheeler to develop a range of cute coffee-focused character graphics that highlighted Coffee Fest’s brand new education venue, the Barista Playground, which I then used across a range of merchandise designs and applications – from t-shirts and sweaters, to stickers, wooden pins, and reusable coffee cups. In 2025, I contracted Mikey G’s Geoff Gouveia to create a new range of characters for an updated line.

I managed the project from concept through design, manufacture, delivery, and on-site sales. In addition to the merchandise line itself, I designed and delivered a custom sales booth and retail displays for the show, and developed and set up a POS and operations plan for retail staff.
