Another sunny day here in London, so over to Shoreditch it was to spend a day wandering Brick Lane in the beautiful weather.
We wandered in and out of the little vintage stores, and found a number of amazing multicultural food markets. There were so many of them – and they were packed with amazing, fresh food from all around the world.
Every one was out and about today, so when a car drove down Brick Lane we used it as a traffic break – it was pretty darn successful.
Eric was super happy when we found this store. He is our resident meat-lover.
We met up with Fraser who is in town from Melbourne too, and head to Andina for some Peruvian food. I had an amazing quinoa and amaranth porridge, with goldenberry and purple maize syrup. The boys had ceviche with tigers milk, and a chicken dish.
Next was time for a beer on the roof at Boxpark in Shoreditch, it seemed everyone else had the same plan to soak up the sun.
Then we took the tube back to Baker st to Monocle Cafe for some tea, Aperol Spritz and a Rum Baba.
