Once a year, all the food trucks in Phoenix gather together at Salt River Fields in Scottsdale, Arizona, for the Street Eats Food Truck Festival.
Buy a ticket, head into the showgrounds, and try small tasters for cheaper prices from over 50 of Phoenix’s top food trucks.
I tried something from most trucks. I compiled a list at the end of the day and was both equally disgusted and impressed with myself.
Funnel cake, chicken pho, Katsu curry, pork belly ramen, deep fried catfish, red beans and rice, jambalaya, seasoned fries, pulled pork brioche slider, mexican chocolate politas, pineapple politas, soft serve ice cream, pork and chicken satay skewers, hush puppies, watermelon ice, catfish beignets, chicken rendang, pineapple soft serve sundae, and finished up with a coffee.
I spent the day snapping pictures and filming all the deliciousness, and running between vans excitedly.
